Discover the World is a program that provides Cambodian students with unique opportunity to go on internship abroad for 6-12 weeks during July-September of 2011.
What is so special about internship abroad? International internship can be the most intense learning experience that AIESEC offers to university students and recent graduates. Imagine how life-changing it can be after 2 or 3 months working in a foreign country, on various social projects, with other interns from different countries, living as an independent person away from your parents and friends back home, and discovering the place that is alien from what you are always used to! Development Internship
This July-September, you have the chance to make a difference and contribute a positive impact to the world. With development internship, you can join hands with other interns from various countries in AIESEC networks to perform voluntary services in an NGO abroad and in communities, to focus on tackling certain social issues, such as HIV/AIDS, education, poverty, climate change, social entrepreneurship, poverty, just to name a few.
For any big change you would like to see in the world, every single action of each individual counts.

1. Project Title: Bridging the Gap-Education
Where: Taiwan
Goal: To improve remote and rural area education resource
Job Description of Interns:
Teach English/Teach Cultural course/ Hold the holiday camp/Hold extracurricular activities/ Participate in school activities/ Hold activities to promote some social issues like energy saving, HIV, and environment issue.
2. Project Title: Sunshine
Where: Russia
Goals: Develop children’s cultural sensitivity and tolerance
Job Description:
• A trainee gets a position of a youth leader assistant. He will be actively involved into all kinds of activities which summer camp is offering, organizing, participating, supervising
• Along other activities intern will be leading discussions about cultures of his/her own country and another countries Organize games, learning activities and performances with children in schools
• Take part in preparation for cultural festival in the Sunshine Summer Camps project. Create program for children together with other trainees and AIESECers
• Broaden children's knowledge of English language in an interesting way
• Participate in host LC activities within the internship period
Duration: 6-8 weeks
3. Project Title: ASEAN in 60 days
Where: Thailand
Job Description:
• Work in a diverse team consist of other ASEAN Ambassadors to run several workshops and activities to deliver topic about ASEAN Community in 2015 to 18,000 Thai Youth
• Represent your country as part of ASEAN member
- showcase your culture during Project Based on Exchange and on ASEAN Village
- teach basic conversations in your language
